The student city of Manipal, Karnataka plays host to the T.A. Pai Management Institute, fondly known as TAPMI. Addmission Process
The Admission Process provided below explains the common process followed across all Programs.
- Each MBA Program may have additional components for selection based on its specific requirements.
- Shortlist and Merit list for each Program is separate and independent of each other. Shortlist/Selection in one Program does not guarantee shortlist/selection for the other Program (for candidates who apply to more than one program).
Eligibility

| BBA | Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/(10+2) Examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregated marks, passed in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. Candidates who are appearing for these exams in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply. They will be shortlisted if they obtain the minimum marks. Candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in HSC/(10+2) Examination. In addition, candidates should have appeared in one of the following entrance tests: 1. IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test, conducted by IIM Indore), for the corresponding academic year OR IPMAT (Indore)/IPMAT (Rohtak) /IPMAT (Ranchi) 2. JEE mains (Joint Entrance Examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), for the corresponding academic year 3. | MBA (Master of Business Administration) | A Graduate Degree from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks (Final year students may also apply. | IPM (Integrated Program in Management) | 1. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 60% aggregated marks, passed in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023 (subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria upon declaration of 10+2 examination results). 2. Minimum 60% aggregated marks in Std. 10th 3. English as a compulsory subject in HSC/(10+2) Examination.
